In view of the competitive and challenging character of this academic field, we aim to support the professional development and well-being of young researchers in the String Theory community, particularly those belonging to underrepresented groups, by offering a mentoring program.
Mentoring is meant to enhance chances for a faster career progression and to foster a stronger professional development for mentees, but it can also be a beneficial moment of reflection for mentors.
Examples of goals and topics for which mentoring could be helpful:
- Post-doc, grant, or job applications
- Work and life balance
- Networking/collaboration
- Gender / racial / other issues
More information about this new program is here. We encourage you to apply!
