The Swansea Particle Physics and Cosmology Theory (PPCT) Group wishes to appoint a postdoctoral researcher to work on Theoretical Cosmology in a broad sense, including fundamental aspects of the physics of the early universe, dark energy, and dark matter. Preference will be given to candidates working, or wishing to work, on gravitational wave cosmology.
The position will be available from October 1, 2020, and we have funding for three years. The appointment will be on the University’s Grade 8 scale, with salary starting at £34,804. The position will be initially for two years with a possible extension to a third year depending on scientific merit.
